John Ferneley College and Longfield College Students visit Mars Food

On January 27th the winning teams from the Mars Food Challenge pitched their innovative ideas to the Senior Management team of Mars Food UK.

On January 27th the winning teams from the Mars Food Challenge pitched their innovative ideas to the Senior Management team of Mars Food UK. The event marked the finale of the Mars Food Challenge, which was held at John Ferneley College and Longfield College on December 9th.

The winning teams from each school presented their proposals, and received winning cheques from Mars Food UK on behalf of their schools. Both teams then joined the Mars team for lunch.

Catherine Edwards, Food Sales Manager at Mars, and organiser of the Challenge said, “We were incredibly impressed with the student’s ideas and have received some very positive feedback on the campaign from both the schools and our own associates. We hope this community programme will provide the foundation for future initiatives between the schools and Mars Food UK”.
